Objective
Know the different artistic techniques, stimulate the creativity and fine manual skills, be able to recognize a work on a technical level, acquire familiarity with various media.
Theoretical part
A video-project will show the artistic techniques more or less known. Observing the famous works, students will be guided through a stylistic journey, focusing on works production technique.
Practical part
Will be explained and experienced one of the following technique:
- Tempera on canvas (artists such as Botticelli-Leonardo Da Vinci)
- Chisel and embossing (Egyptian low-relief / roman tablets)
- Collage and Frottage (contemporary art: surrealist-futurists)
- The Ready Made (Reference artists: M. Duchamp-Bruno Munari)
(It is possible to personalize the workshop with various techniques and artists, based on the teacher request)

Objective
Know the process of production of natural colours, both from pigments and plants.
Theoretical part
We will discover, through the observation, how material can be transformed into colours. Children, guided by the operator, will handle pigments and plants to transformed them into colours.
Practical part
Coloration of drawings with the natural colours just created by students.

Objective
The aim of the laboratory is to know the landscape around us, to define the word landscape trough the different aspect of the various subjects: geography, history, art and literature.
Theoretical part
Through a brief sequence of images, we will define the elements that characterize the landscape: visible and invisible, natural or anthropic. We will examine how landscapes ae formed and how they change, as well as the different interpretation of the landscape itsel, how it is changed and the ways of representing it.
Practical part
Every student will realize a three-dimensional landscape model, whether real or of their imagination.

Encouraging and disseminating the knowledge of clay and stimulate the creativity of the students trough handling work.
Theoretical part
Children will discover the main characteristic of clay trough observation and handling.
Practical part
Construction of a two and three-dimensional object. Upon request, it will be possible to organize the workshop with particular techniques or themed work.
