Objective
Know the Earth and the solar system bodies.
Theoretical part
We will observe the scale models and study real celestial bodies of solar system. We will understand how solar system was formed and how its future evolution will be.
We will analyze the characteristic of each planet and the laws of planetary motion, the alternation of the seasons, the eclipse of Sun and Moon.
Practical part
Construction of solar planetary scale model.

Objective
Understand the factors that let the emergence and evolution of life on Earth.
Theoretical part
We will do a time travel to discover life on Earth by the use of educational tools. We will analyze a large collection of fossil at retrace the various stage of evolution: from the earliest forms of life to the first vertebrates, from dinosaurs to birds, the animal extinction to ice ages.
Practical part
Realization of small diorama representing a particular geologic age.

Objective
Understand the basic principles of chemistry and physics.
Theoretical part
We will briefly show with scientific exactitude, the history of chemistry and physics, particularly with reference to Galileo e Lavoisier; explain the innovations that they have introduced in scientific world.
Practical part
With the help of the three-dimensional models, we will examine the most common molecules (water, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide) to better understand what some propriety depends on.
Realization of practical experiments to learn by playing the fundamental principles of chemistry and physics. Reproduction of experiment of falling bodies.

Objective
Learn the fundamental principals of orientation and learn how to read a topographic map.
Theoretical part
Brief story of cartography, explanation of the symbols used in maps, how to orient ourselves and explanation of the devices of orientation (such us compass, altimeter and sextant).
Practical part
We will walk outdoors orienting through the use of map and compass, learning how to recognize the elements showed on the topographic map.
