Objective
Introduction of geology, knowledge of rocks and minerals and the alteration in rocks.
Theoretical part
We will analyze rock samples with different origins to understand how rocks and minerals are formed and which are the main phenomena of erosion and disintegration up to formation of sand on the beaches.
Practical part
Observation of rocks and sands under the microscope, construction of a stratified sand column.

Objective
Explore The world of minerals, know minerals through the use of the five senses, understand the importance of minerals for the technology development.
Theoretical part
Through the observation of authentic minerals, we will analyze the chemical and physical feature; we will study the environment in which minerals are formed as well as where we can find and recognize them.
We will understand their importance as raw materials, how they are present in our everyday life and their use in the various epochs.
Practical part
Acknowledgment of minerals trough the five senses, preparation of colors with minerals.

Objective
Understand the meaning of the world ‘energy’ and ‘energy saving’.
Theoretical part
Starting from the four elements such as earth, air, water, fire, will be studied the energy source used by Man. We will clarify the meaning of terms such us alternative renewable and fossil energies.
We will describe the various energy production methods, the way they has been changed overt time and the energy quantity used by Man; as well as toanalyze the concept of sustainable energy and energy saving.
Practical part
Construction of simple electric circuits by the use of tester and measurements of the quantity of energy present in the matter.

Objective
Have a good knowledge of the evolutive history of dinosaurs and the causes of their decline.
Theoretical part
We will do a time travel to discover the dominant terrestrial life form, occupying this position for about 150 million years, until their extinction 65 million years ago.
We will use life-size models and some fossil specimens to study the dinosaurs way of life and why they differ from other reptiles; with particular reference to those dinosaurs discovered in Italy and the study of footprints.
Practical part
Realization of small diorama
