Exchange barter and sell: the origin of coins
Objective
Analyze the history aspects already studied at school through the finds displayed in the Museum, in particular coins and their iconographic features.Theoretical part
The itinerary shall pay particular attention to coinage, an element of a wide everyday use. The students will watch a brief video-projection to analyze various aspects of ancient daily life, focusing on the coin circulation and its aspect.
In the museum they will complete their knowledge acquired by observing the coin aspects and the iconography of the ‘Fornacette closet’; in addition to other types of coins coming from archeological finds in Valdera.
