Municipal Library
In Villa Baciocchi is located, in addition to the Museums, the municipal library of Capannoli, exactly at the ground floor of the structure.
The current book heritage counts of 5000 volumes, of which 1500 for children. The collection, which increase constantly, have both a local and an English section.
The wide reading hall is used not only to promote reading, but also host exhibitions and cultural events.
To encourage reading pleasure, library promote the love for book among children of elementary and high school by lending books within classes.
In the library room you can find a multimedia room (with six stations), in which you can access on internet for free, and a video screen for video-projection and conferences.
